Hi all,
Since we won't be running USA codes from now on and although we got some extra codes for UK & CAN we still have a lot of people who are waiting for a new code, plus we also have the new ones applying waiting for one. In other words, we have more people than codes and that means there will be no place for people who have a code and don't do enough.
Besides that queues on UK, CAN & AUS usually are higher than on USA, so the average per operator will be higher as well.
So make sure you are working and being productive (and write good messages) and keep your code, because when you lose it now, there are many people waiting in line before you and it may take some serious time before you can get a new one!

We don't keep anything. We are a hiring agency and work for the company, just like you do. We may have a different job, but not a different position. It is true the big part of the money they make goes to the company yes, and little to people like us or the operators. But stating you keep the rest (even to the company) is shortsighted. Who do you think needs to pay for the software and all the technicians that keep things working. You know what one good IT scripter costs? Who pays their head office workers, the QA officials, their managers, the cleaning lady, or you think the company is one guy with a laptop on a bench at Starbucks? Who pays the servers? The rent? Of course the overall company will have it's profit, yes. But keep the 80%?

Spice up an evil act? Lol. Even WOW has 15 people working to make it all happen. You don't want to work for free, neither do they. You are complaining about what you earn, but at the same time when you need to pay for something because you make use of services where other people work for, that is an evil act?

Yay, we have a racist in the house. An ignorant one. Okay well, most racists are ignorant of course. Sorry 'anonymous' but again, completely wrong assumption. Out of the 15 people working for WOW, only one is white and originates from the 'western world' (Western Europe/USA and such) but lives in the Caribbean in a black community. One is white-ish, but not from the western world, but does live there now, and the other 13 are from, and live in Africa, South America and Asia and are all colored.
All I have to do is to pray for a better job this 2021, yeah the whole world does.

We don't scam anyone. The overall company and the website owners are the ones who have the clients you are referring too. And they are bound to laws and rules by the way.
We don't have those clients, WOW is a hiring agency that offers jobs. We offer what we can, based on the offer of a company. We have jobs in another language on our site paying up to 12, 14, 19 or even 22 cents a message. We had better paying offers in English in the past and of course we hope to be able to offer those in the future, but we are dependent on the market. We only can offer what the companies offer. All information, rules terms and conditions are know up front, so we don't scam anyone.

DeleteLike 10 years ago I came to stand alone as a single dad, with three teenagers. I had 250 dollars in my pocket and 1 month rent. I worked 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, typed 5 sites at the same time as an operator, typing 10 to 15 thousand messages in a month to make sure I could pay the rent for many years, until my kids started to leave the house and I had more options to spent my time. Now I have my own company. So yeah, this assumption is kind of right and yes I probably type more messages on Skype daily than the average operator produces.

I'm motivated. I have so many responsibilities but I'm just 21. Thinking about them scares me a lot but I pray God sees me through too, I'm hard working already.

However, will there be a chance that the rate will increase even at a modest 0.07 to pay for the expenses for electric and WiFi? I live in the Philippines, which you all know, internet and electric expenses are very high.
ReplyDeleteYour expenses are nothing to the penalties we get from the company we get for abuse. So as long as people keep abusing and considering the fact everything is less during the pandemic, chances to that are close to 0 %
