We have tried to make a save and succeeded, but there is a downside to it.
First of all understand we are a recruiting agency, we are NOT the company. We don't make these decisions.
The situation is as follows: because of a big drop in traffic due to corona, the company earns less. Way less. But their overhead costs remain the same, office costs, rent, their own employees, utility and so on, it all still needs to be paid. Not surprising, many many companies around the world are dealing with the same problems. Because of this they have already cut down many affiliate partners (and with them their studio's) or removed them completely.
The only reason we were still in is because we don't work like that, we have recruiters, but not a single studio, everything is done by us, training, coaching, details, payments and all of that. Recruiters only bring people, but we decide.
Because of that we have always been very low on abuse.
And because of that we are like the only party in the field left able to hire people from Africa.
Now read the following very carefully. We have a lot of people working here, who simply have no other option, single parents with kids for instance who need this to be able to buy food.
So we are asking you to count to 10 and control your temper reading the next part and realize these people live around the corner in your city as well. We count on you staying professional and make the right decisions.
We managed to keep all the codes for everyone, but they will no longer be seen as native (unless you are from USA, CAN, AUS, UK, or certain parts of SA or JAM). All other countries will be non native from now on. Next to that they lowered the pay for non native from 4 to 3 cents. So that means, everyone from Nigeria, Kenia or other countries not mentioned with the native exceptions, you all can keep working, but the pay for now (until it changes) will be 3 euro cents a message.
Please, even if this makes you angry, be so professional to just report to your coach that sucks and you want to quit. Do not be so stupid to point your anger towards the company and abuse your code. Because when that happens right now in this situation, it will be totally closed down and you will be the cause that for instance if you are from Nigeria all other people in Nigeria will lose their way to make some money with this and like said, this is like the last option there is out there.
Again, this was actually gone already, we've tried to save things and it was this or nothing.
To help you a little with controlling your temper and make sure you do not abuse the code:
1. No matter what you have in your balance, it will be lost and you won't get paid
2. We will not hesitate to post your personal details including your address in all Skype groups, the blog and social media.
As a recruiting agency we could have said, we have had enough of this, we quit running this. We have more clients. We tried to make a save for the people that simply have no other option and no money if this disappears.
So don't start a discussion, this is a threat. Because if you now abuse and are willing to take the risk hundreds and hundreds of other people will lose their income just because you are mad, then the risk to be exposed is included.
Stay professional. You don't like it, inform your coach you want to quit, so someone else can make some money, even though it is less than before, in your place. You will be invoiced for the money you made and everything will be finalized by us in a professional way.

DeleteI have no problem with the changes.. what about the last months pay? Shall we be paid? I will continue to work. But what about last months pay?

ReplyDeleteRegardless of the downside to the current situation, the effort by the agency to make a save of all codes is a commendable one, capped off by a success in that endeavour.
ReplyDeleteHowever, there's this question that leaves me particularly worried; with the reduction in the rate to 3 Euro cents, WILL THE MINIMUM PAYOUT AMOUNT BE REDUCED? I ask this whilst considering everyone affected.
As it stands, 1 Euro would require more messages than previously. Hence, the minimum payout amount of 75 Euros would require as much as 2500 messages as against 1500 previously.
Recall that, in recent times, there had been a clamour for everyone to preferably slow down, be meticulous enough and produce very good quality of messages to minimize grammatical errors and prevent violations which would obviously lead to a permanent block by the overall company.
In that case, I humbly suggest that the minimum payout amount be reduced to 50 Euros which would be a total message production of exactly 1700 Euros less administrative costs of 1 Euro.
This, I feel, would be fair enough to aid us cushion the effects of the current developments. It would be most appreciative if this were to be considered.

1) Is there any assurance that other countries would get back on the native platform?
2) Can we be paid 4 euro cent for the non native considering the payout rules?
3) Is it possible for WOW to reduce the minimum payout considering the new rate?
Hello I just think the minimum payout should be a low bit as it could just be a lot of work now with the low rates. I would appreciate that if you can get to do something with it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteSince there is a change in pay, I want to know if the minimum payment will also be reduced to £50? No one is happy with what is happening right now, but it will be more difficult and considered wicked if the Bank still charge us so much to receive our money or the company still maintain the £75 default payment. It will be really bad.
ReplyDeleteCan you lower the minimum payout? If we are going to be paid less then please consider lowering your minimum, make it 50 euro if possible. And I do hope for the love of God since the bank fee is almost taking all our money that we can finally find a way that us operators and you as a higher person in position can finally find the solution about bank transfer.

DeleteYou've been living underneath a rock? Drastic changes are made by companies in this corona period all around the world.
DeleteBack to normal is ACTUALLY what they are doing. Really splitting back to native and non native. Of course when traffic rises again there will be a chance pay goes up again for both native and non native and we are trying to up it at least one cent, but no promises yet and won't happen during the transformation period.
