Unknown Location (IP hide, VPN, GEO) you can lose your account!

The overall company can block your account when your IP is not visible to them. Make sure you do not use VPN, an IP hider, your GEO/Location is turned to ON. If you use ad blocker, put it to off for the site you are working for, just to make sure. Make sure your browser does not have an automatic ad blocker or built in VPN and if so make sure that is set to off (at least for the site you are working on).
Do you work from home, your own wifi? Make sure you are not behind some kind of firewall. Check if your antivirus program does not block sharing details with sites.
If you work from another location than your own, like a chat cafe, it might have to do with their IP settings, you will need to ask them.
It can also be related to teh kind of device you are using, a normal PC or laptop, with a normal internet connection will always show an IP unless it is blocked by your own settings (VPN, IP hider, IP changer).
With a mobile phone it is a different story, because mobile net is very often rerouted, but then again, you all know it is not even allowed to work from a phone to bein with, right?

  1. I never use a VPN so my IP address is always visible but how would I know if there was a problem with my antivirus? I don't think there is but how would I know? Would I get some kind of notification?

    1. Hard to tell, really depends on the combination of the device and the anti virus program, might just be that your anti virus once popped up to grant access or share details to the site and you clicked it away. To change that is always possible but depends on the program.
