Shut down (temporarily)

Hi all, We have a problem again. The word 'again' already says this is not the first time (and probably won't be the last). Operators who have been working with us before, or have been working this business for a longer period of time already know this happens from time to time. As usual, we will be completely transparent and open about it, as we always are, so here is what happened this time: A group of old operators from GOM attacked the server and committed serious abuse. We don't know how, but as far we have seen this has NOT been done by people working for us (the codes we have seen are not issued by us). As a result of that, the overall company simply shut the whole server down to prevent more abuse. The logic and right thing to do of course, nevertheless annoying for everyone and sad as well, because no one can make any money right now. We will keep you all posted and no matter the outcome (short shut down, temporarily, permanent, we really don't know anything yet at this moment) we will make sure you get invoiced and paid (as always). But I would like to add something to the ex workers of GOM that did this, people that think justice has been done now or any other brainless farth out there, thinking of doing something like this. There are always 3 parties involved: the overall company, the middle man and the studio. What are you trying to achieve? Revenge? To the overall company this is calculated risk, they are so fucking rich, you are not even a drop of water in the ocean. So that is stupid. You blame the middle man for the money you never received. But we have been working with him for many years on all kinds of projects and he always pays. In fact, from all the clients WOW works with, he is by far the fastest payer out there. Believe me, GOM has been paid. So that is stupid as well. Leaves the studio, GOM. They were thrown out because of it, so you can't even hit them. So what DID you achieve? The overall company lost a few bucks (boring). You hit the middle man, but it was not his fault, it was GOM who had paying problems. You've hit our studio (WOW) but we are not in any way related to GOM. We are just another party working out there. And you have made like 400 innocent people, who have nothing to do with it, lose their jobs (hopefully only temporarily). In other words: by taking revenge, you took it out on all the wrong people, the one party you were trying to hit isn't even there anymore. You have clearly no clue how things really work. Because of what you did only innocent other people bleed, people from your own country or neighbourhood even. Brilliant! Of course we clearly don't like studio's or companies that don't pay. We hate it. But if this is the way you take 'revenge', you are even worse than that.

DNS CLOSED - updated

Hi all, As of now 'we' will not be offering DNS anymore. The client (the overall company) is giving us too much hassle. The one moment they tell us, make sure you fill the peak hours, so we we work our asses off and put people in. And a week later on top of all accounts of the people who use VPN or show no IP at all, they start closing accounts for 'quality' because there are too many people in. And even then there is little traffic. Okay we do understand this is all corona related and they too do not know what the next week will look like at the moment, but still. The latest thing is that there were going to close all accounts with high numbers, because they are more likely to commit abuse or write bad quality messages. Nigerian banks / SWIFT / TELEX / Costs

Very often we get the question if we can provide a telex copy or a SWIFT telex and 99.9% of the time that question comes from a Nigerian bank. The problem is, there is no such thing as a SWIFT Telex. Telex does exist, at least it did until 1973. The only thing we will ever be able to provide you with is a payment transcript.
